Katy Hill has been left with a broken leg, a broken nose, a shattered cheekbone and a broken arm.
The Democratic House candidate for New Hampshire’s 2nd Congressional District told The Hill on Wednesday that she was “not going anywhere” after her campaign was attacked by a former campaign staffer who claimed to have hacked the DNC.
Hill, a former Marine Corps soldier and Iraq war veteran, was targeted by a group of hackers who claimed they were behind a series of leaks that exposed her political enemies and her family members.
Hill told The Associated Press she has not received a death threat and was not in danger.
She was one of more than 100 candidates who were invited to participate in the Republican National Convention last week.
She said she has been receiving calls from her family about the cyberattacks and was considering legal action.
She was the only Democrat to be selected for the convention and she is scheduled to speak Thursday in Philadelphia at a fundraiser for Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus.
