Icelandsic’s Halo Infinite leak was down to just 5.3% in the first 24 hours after it went live on the Xbox One.
Icelandic said in a tweet that it had received over 6,000 responses to the leak, but the company did not give a time frame for when the final numbers would be released.
It seems there were some initial delays to the Halo Infinite beta, as the game’s Xbox One preview started on the 15th of March, according to a Reddit post by an Icelanders user.
Icelanders’ Xbox Live chat had a stream of the beta, which the user identified as Halo Infinite Beta 2, but it has since been removed.
However, it has been noted that the beta is still available for Halo 5, Halo 4 and Halo Wars 2 players.
A source with knowledge of the Halo team’s internal processes told Eurogamer that Halo Infinite was not a huge surprise, given that it was already in beta on Xbox One and Microsoft’s Xbox Live.
The source told Eurogam: “Halo Infinite was originally supposed to go into a few weeks’ time but now it looks like it is a bit more of a late start to Halo Infinite.
It took us a while to get it in and testing, but we’re happy with how it is.”
